After undertaking a competitive tender process, Swiss Post has entrusted Zetes with a project to renew the company’s mobile infrastructure. Zetes will be providing all mobile devices and associated ZetesTotalCare maintenance services to the national postal and courier services provider.
The contract commences on September 1st 2014. The rollout will be completed by 2015 and service and maintenance will cover a period of five years.
ZetesTotalCare is a Web-based solution for the administration of IT infrastructure, including maintenance and repair. Zetes TotalCare allows companies to efficiently manage the purchase of new mobile equipment and to tightly control their existing estate of mobile terminals.
Zetes’ service platform will guarantee Swiss Post achieves full transparency, high IT availability regardless of location, optimised repair cycles, flexible remote maintenance and cost efficient process and device management.
When tendering for a new mobile technology partner, Swiss Post had three requirements. The company wished to renew its estate of mobile devices within both the parcel delivery division and distribution centres, and lastly, to equip postal workers with mobile devices. Zetes was awarded all 3 segments of the tender, because of its unique service offering providing optimum deployment and maintenance services.
“We are very proud that Swiss Post has chosen Zetes for the renewal of their mobile estate. We believe that the combination of our offering combining hardware with Zetes TotalCare and Zetes Services will help them deliver outstanding customer service across the country,” says Stefan Butz, MD, Zetes Switzerland.
Juan José Martinez, president of Zetes’ Goods ID Division says, “It is an honour to count Swiss Post among our references. Zetes already has a proven track record in the industry and equipped other postal and courier companies across Europe with its Proof of Delivery solution, ZetesChronos. We trust that our solutions and services will make a significant contribution to the success of Swiss Post.”
