Fujitsu has introduced new high end whisper-quiet workstations, extending its comprehensive Made in Germany line-up.
The powerful new Celsius R940 and Celsius M740 models provide business users facing ever-faster innovation cycles with the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage.

In introducing new models that are whisper-quiet even under heavy load, Fujitsu is true to its philosophy of Human Centric Innovation:

The Celsius workstations deliver performance without compromise, using top-of-the-line components including the third generation of Intel Xeon processors, DDR4 memory, the latest graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA and Fujitsu’s own, turbo fast PCIe 512Gb SSD drives, which boast twice the performance of today’s desktop SSDs.

Even under full load, noise output peaks at between 18 and 23 dB(A) – much quieter than the ambient noise in an open-plan office space.

The new Fujitsu workstation models enable customers to keep up with accelerating innovation cycles. These demand shorter time-to-market and more frequent model refreshes in order to remain competitive. Target verticals include engineering, manufacturing, architecture, media & entertainment, healthcare, oil and gas as well as geographic information systems (GIS).

Fujitsu’s new workstations are ideal for highly-intensive computing tasks such as simulating large and complex datasets and real-time 3d model rendering, while providing the highest levels of performance, reliability and data integrity.
The new FUJITSU Workstation Celsius R940 is a scalable dual-core processor workstation delivering ultimate performance for the most demanding and memory-intensive multi-threaded applications, especially simulation, visualising and rendering.

The Celsius M740 single-processor unit is particularly suited to healthcare environments, as it is certified for Medical EMC Standards, and allows for easy, at-the-desk expandability, thanks to a tool-free chassis with cold-plug access, plus rapid change of up to eight hard disk drives.

Just like almost all workstations in the Fujitsu Celsius line-up, the two new models are built to run in 24/7 operating environments and support the highest end graphics and compute cards as well as workstation virtualisation.
Both new systems support Windows Server 2012, and are rack-mountable for data centre use, including secure PCoIP access.

Fujitsu accessories that complement the new workstations are top-of-the-range Fujitsu P Line Displays with screen sizes of up to 27 inches, and the special ergonomic 3D SpaceMouse.

The complete portfolio of Fujitsu’s Celsius mobile, desktop and rack workstations, plus accessories, is available internationally directly from Fujitsu and via distribution partners. Prices vary by region, model and configuration.
