Kyocera Document Solutions, a long standing leader in document management, recently announced its collaboration with New Dynamic Solutions to sell ScannerVision, a fully managed file digitalisation software that automates the scanning process by linking the MFP to the destination of digitalised documents.
Available through Kyocera’s authorised resellers in South Africa from early February, ScannerVision enables companies and government agencies to extend the use of their multifunctional printers.
The software overhauls business processes and workflows and is ideal for businesses wanting to share and archive information in a secure environment, such as government, healthcare, educational institutions and the legal profession.
Jean-Pierre Lourens, Kyocera’s software product manager says, “ScannerVision offers a fully scalable solution that processes the handling of documents so that information can be created, shared, organised, stored and retrieved exceptionally easily. It also integrates seamlessly into document management or cloud systems.”
Functionalities such as barcode and OCR text recognition for 100 languages, bi-directional communication allowing direct document retrieval from the MFP panel, and intelligent routing based on metadata ensure misfiling is a thing of the past.
