New iOS bug targets apps

FireEye has uncovered a new bug – the Masque Attack – that could take over iOS apps. The company writes on its corporate blog that it notified Apple back in July 2014 about a vulnerability whereby an iOS app installed using enterprise/ad-hoc provisioning could replace another genuine app installed through the App Store, as long as both apps used the same bundle identifier.

SA set for 7% wage increase

South African employers are forecasting 7% pay rises for staff in 2015 – the same as they received in 2014. This is according to the latest Salary Trends survey by ECA International, which finds that local increases are among the top 20 highest in the survey.
