Tshwane finances on the edge

The City of Tshwane could be on the verge of bankruptcy and may soon run out of operating cash. Kevin Mileham, the DA’s shadow minister of co-operative governance and traditional affairs, says the party is in possession of the City of Tshwane’s financial statements for the 2013/14 financial year, which indicate it is on the verge of bankruptcy – and, since debts are not being collected, the DA projects that the city will run out of operating cash.
