Verifone appoints new MD for SA

Verifone recently appointed Craig Rankin as the new GM and MD for its South Africa business. Rankin is the former GM for Banking at Telesure Investment Holdings, where he was responsible for establishing Telesure’s independent payments business, dashpay. Prior to Telesure, Rankin was the MD of Bluebean, a division of Standard Bank and later became director: Card Acquiring, responsible for the bank’s card acquiring portfolio.
